Marc Foman
Marc Foman is the owner and founder of Marc's Guitar Center. He and his partner Linda Volz have been operating the business since 1978. He holds a bachelor's degree in honors English from the University of Massachusetts. You can often find him on the sales floor of his store talking about his two favorite subjects: Beatles music & music theory as it applies to the guitar fretboard.

Linda
Volz
Linda
Volz is the co-owner of Marc's Guitar Center. She runs the back
office and keeps the rest of us out of trouble. Linda has a BA degree
in Education from the University of Massachusetts and plays classical
piano in her “spare time.”

Paul
Paul
is the manager, head repair technician and a salesperson at Marc's
Guitar. Hailing from El Paso, Texas, Paul is very fluent in Spanish.
His main interests include vintage Rock 'N Roll and Soul subcultures.
He is one of the resident dj's for Lipp Servus, a Thursday night
dance party held at his bar
The Blackbird Buvette. As for guitar, Paul has been playing
and performing for over 15 years and has over 10 years of guitar
tech experience. Check out his band The
Dirty Novels.

Darrin
Hargis
Darrin Hargis has been at Marc's for over twelve years teaching guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo. In college he studied guitar at the University of New Mexico under Michael Chapdelaine and graduated on the Dean's list with a BA in music performance. In addition to his university studies, he has studied in master classes with great classical guitarists such as Ricardo Cobo, David Starobin (Peabody Institute), William Kannengiser (UCLA), and Bruce Holzeman (Florida State). During his university studies, he taught three summers at Hummingbird Music Camp. Darrin has performed extensively throughout the southwest with various groups including Micky Cruz and Sismo, Albuquerque Civic Light Opera (Musical Theater Southwest), and the New Mexico Reperatory Theater in such shows as Chicago, Blood Wedding, Three Penny Opera, and A Chorus Line

RJ
Perez
RJ Perez
has been teaching at Marc's Guitar for over 4 years now. He obtained
his Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance at UNM under the instruction
of Micheal Chapoclaine. In addition to teaching RJ also performs
at weddings and parties. He also records and performs with various
musicians in and around the Southwestern area. RJ is a very laidback
guy, likes to joke around and provides a very fun and easygoing
learning environment.

Danielle
Easley
Danielle can be found at Marc's
helping Linda with all the various bookkeeping tasks. Ms. Easley
has been with Marc's Guitar for over a year now and she is quite
proficient in keeping the books balanced. During busier times you
will find her up front ready to help with any questions you may
have!

Mr.
Spencer
The Elusive
Mr. Spencer specializes in sales and repairs. He is also the webmaster.
He may hide his identity but he is no stranger to customer service
and guitar adjustments. Mr. Spencer handles all online affiars pertaining
to Marc's Guitar. If you have any online questions he will be glad
to answer them for you.

Jonny
Heffern
Jonny
Heffern is the newest addition to the Marc's Guitar sales floor
and repair bench. Jonny is a self taught musician who excels on
drums and guitar. He is also quite proficient on bass, keyboards
and vocals. He is always busy jamming and rehearsing with locals
bands Breaking Up Dates and April's Agenda. Jonny
also dabbles in his solo project called Down Set One.
